I put this blog in the chatbox at the end of May and am very sad that no one has responded! Is there a helpful person who is resident in Madeira who can help me find this shop in Funchal as I am very keen to make contact with them. I look forward to some response from someone even if it is only Sam!!
I hope the weather is good with you there? Janie

Hello! I have just joined this chatbox. I spent Christmas in Madeira last year (2009) at the Casino Park. Lovely time despite the very wet weather! I bought a pair of jeans at a lovely little shop in Funchal and would really like to make contact with the shop as I would like to buy another pair of these jeans. Is there anyone who can help me try and find this shop?
I love Madeira and have visited about 5-6 times and used to stay at the Savoy - now sadly being demolished. Would love to communicate with others who love this pretty island.

Madeira Active Summer picnic/BBQ and Walk
Sunday August 23rd

We will meet at a designated spot on top of Paul de Serra, where will have a short walk along a levada and into a forest where we can use the Public picnic area and BBQ area. Under the shade of the trees we can enjoy eating al fresco, play a few games or just laze around for a while. After lunch, for those who want to walk off their feast, we will take a 30 minute hike up the side of a hill, where on a clear day, from the view point, the peaks of Pico do Arreeiro and Pico Ruivo and the beautiful landscapes of the North Coast can be observed.
This is a free fun day out, bring your own picnic or food if you want to use the BBQ.
To book, email us, using the contact form above.
